“A Journey Exploring Text” with Jo Cromack

Text can be added to all sorts of artworks, and we shall look at ways that this can be done. Use your handwriting and a variety of tools and media to create textures from text. These can then be used as backgrounds, elements of contrast or for special details in your artwork. We will oscillate between legible and illegible letters. No precise letter drawing here and ‘good handwriting’ is not a pre-requisite. You will discover text possibilities in a relaxing but busy session.
