“Mid Winter Sunday Funday” with Ailsa Fergusson

Mid-winter Sunday Funday, with shared Ausmas lunch.

There will be three calligraphic challenges in the morning, which you can tackle with whatever tools you choose to bring. So bring your usual tool kit of writing implements, brushes and a few sheets of white paper. Ailsa will bring some unusual tools for you to experiment with and to use in conjunction with what you bring of your own.

In the afternoon we’ll make paper spheres in the style first made by member Liz O’Leary. You will need an A4 sheet of slightly heavier paper for one sphere, cutting mat, cutting tool and a scoring tool. Bring more paper if you wish to make more spheres.
