SSiW 2019 Revisited – Denise Lach

Creating and Using Texture part 2

Sharing my experience with Denise Lach I hope to inspire you with a relaxing afternoon of play with a fineliner.
We will experiment with creating texture with words, Denise’s way, which you will find addictive and meditative.

In this continuation workshop we will shall:
  • continue with a few more texture exercises
  • experiment with using an image as a base for a composition
  • bind our signatures into a booklet

An email with materials and preparation information will come next week.

***** Even if you have not done the texture part of these workshops you can join us to learn a new way to bind a booklet, which will be my version of the Flat Style Australian Reverse Piano Hinge Binding. Just join in the Zoom workshop at 2pm with your materials ready.*****

Contact us, via the contact page, if planning to ‘attend’.

You will need access to a computer and the internet for the 2 hours.
It needs to be set up next to your workspace.
You don’t need much workspace, you need enough room to write on an A4 sheet.

Materials List: materials list and preparation information will be sent to you via email, along with access via
a Zoom invitation link.

I hope to inspire you with relaxing day of play with a fineliner and other tools, to appreciate the graphic language of text.

We will experiment with creating texture with words, Denise’s way, which you will find addictive and meditative.
