DESCRIPTION:Designing\, drawing and building up\nletterforms or symbols \nLimbering up for the coming year\, we’ll be thinking about letter forms and symbols\, and flexing our muscles with pencils. We’ll take inspiration from imagery we’ve brought along or from examples provided\, and we’ll use several techniques we’ve learned from past workshops. \nYou may like to work on a single letter\, or a group of letters\, or to create symbols for a personal code you can use for writing secrets. \nThere will be plenty of prompts provided. We will work slowly\, trying out forms and gently building up the shapes. There will also be suggestions for ways of using colour (again with pencils) to enliven our forms and shapes. \nWe’ll finish by using our letters or symbols to write a short piece on good paper to use as a greeting card or gift tags\, or a little piece to frame. \nMeditation with Pencils – Materials list \nMeditation with Pencils – Promo \n
