“Intro to Gelli Printing” with Lyndall Mason

“Gelli” or “Gel Printing” is a form of mono printing using either a purchased synthetic gelatin plate or a homemade ‘real’ gelatin plate to print from.
Gelli plates are cheap, flexible, reusable and long lasting. They’re also incredibly good fun and very easy to use to achieve fantastic results from the get go.
The aim of the workshop is for you to produce a variety of prints using different techniques. To achieve this aim you will experiment with colours, layers, textures, patterns, images and a whole variety of bits ‘n’ bobs to create your prints. Then you’ll make a couple of special items to showcase your new found talent!
